Writing Buyer Letters

Last week I wrote my buyer letters to local businesses! It was really fun because I got to tell them all about me and my lamb. Her name is Bella and she’s a Hampshire ewe. This is my very first year raising a lamb for the fair, and I’m really proud of how hard I’ve been working. In the letter, I wrote “Hi, my name is Asa,” and invited them to come to the Santa Barbara County Fair on July 12 to see Bella and support the auction. I put a lot of stuff in the envelope—like a cool magnet, a QR code so they can register to be a buyer, and a bunch of pictures of me and Bella together. I hope they like it and come to the fair to support me and the other kids who are raising animals this year!
